VOLUNTEER

Would you like to make a difference to the life of a young person? Do you want to make a positive impact in your community? Become a volunteer with Berkshire Youth and help empower the next generation to thrive.

WHY VOLUNTEER WITH US?

Our volunteers are involved in a variety of projects, from supporting our clubs and venues to providing a listening ear and delivering activities where young people meet their friends. Volunteering is a fantastic way to meet new people, develop new skills, share your passions, and have fun. You could even gain new qualifications or explore a new career path.

We’re flexible with time commitments, whether it’s one or two hours a week (ideal for those doing their Gold DofE Award) or a few hours every day. We’ll work with you to agree on a role and schedule that suits you.

Perks of Volunteering:

- Free training and development opportunities

- Build meaningful connections with youth and fellow volunteers

- A chance to give back and grow personally and professionally

TESTIMONIALS

I have only recently started volunteering with Berkshire Youth. I am enjoying being part of a team, spending time with young people, and I feel that I am giving something back to my local community, which is important to me.

I volunteer for Berkshire Youth to give young people the opportunity to take advantage of local youth clubs and the activities they provide. The youth workers are welcoming and great to work alongside. The young people are always friendly, and brilliant to be with. This gives me a great sense of pride in seeing them thrive.
