Award-Winning Waterside Centre!

Berkshire Youth’s Waterside Centre won an award at the Newbury Weekly News Best in Business Awards on Friday night!
We were honoured to win the inaugural John Hampson Award, in memory of the much-loved local figure, who was the first organiser of these awards and who worked closely with a number of youth charities and organisations.
We’re delighted to be the first ever recipients of this award, which recognises Waterside’s valuable support of local young people, enabling them to reach their full potential.
The award ceremony was attended by Kelly Leach, Youth & Community Manager, and Sarah Atkinson, our new Chair of Trustees (pictured above).
We’re very excited to be adding to our certificates and awards – Kelly is now looking to purchase a display cabinet for the centre!
