Awards Achievements!

31 March 2022

Great British Business and Community Awards

We’re delighted to have been shortlisted for the Charity of the Year award at the #GBBCAwards, organised by GBExpos.

It’s brilliant for the whole team to be recognised for their work with Berkshire’s young people, showing that youth work works!

The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday 7 April – wish us luck!

Newbury Town Civic Awards

We were thrilled that our hard-working volunteers at the Waterside Community Larder were nominated for a Newbury Town Civic Award.

Earlier this month, Ailie and volunteer Karen attended the awards ceremony, enjoying a tour of the Mayor’s Chambers, the chance to meet all of the other wonderful nominees and winners, plus received a certificate recognising their work.

We’re so proud of our volunteers’ hard work and dedication. We could not run the Waterside Community Larder without them.

To learn more about our volunteering opportunities, please email our Youth and Community Manager, Kelly Leach.
