Britwell – April 2023

27 April 2023

Thank you to Qudsia for this update!

The Easter holidays kicked off with a bang in Britwell as young people attended the holiday club. Sessions took place from 11am – 3pm (evening sessions continued on Tuesday and Thursday) with over 50 young people in attendance each day.

In partnership with Slough Borough Council, BYCP ran the HAF programme, where children who were entitled to free school meals were provided with a hot meal. There were lots of activities to do too, including; gaming, arts and crafts, trampolining, sports and even an African drumming session. Young people were treated to free Easter eggs sponsored by Slough Jump In as well!!!

The last week of the Easter holidays saw BYCP close for the week as refurbishment work took place at the premises, with new flooring laid in the entrance and hallway. Let’s just say the shiny new floor didn’t go unnoticed!
