Britwell – September 2022

29 September 2022

Thank you to Qudsia for sending us the latest news from Britwell Youth and Community Project:

“Young people at BYCP have got back into the swing of things, returning to school and the continuation of Tuesday and Thursday evening youth club sessions. In partnership with our local Coop food store on Long Furlong Drive, young people participated in an arts and crafts competition helping design a ‘sustainable green idea’ to improve the environment for Big Green Week. Coop provided the arts and crafts materials as well as the judging and prizes. Thanks to our local Coop store for their ongoing support!

“BYCP looks forward to kicking off its Love Music Hate Violence Project in partnership with Great Western Railway where young people will have the chance to showcase their talent at the local Slough, Langley and Burnham train stations over the next few months.  More details to follow soon.

“We will also be welcoming the Slough Anti-Litter society next month who will host a workshop for young people teaching them how to recycle old clothes into something new and trendy of course all whilst learning about the damaging effects of clothes wastage.”

This all sounds great! Keep up the good work!
