CEO’s Thoughts (March 2023)

30 March 2023

Another busy month has flown by, and I can’t believe that it’s time to send our monthly newsletter again!

Today is the deadline for young people to complete our Youth Survey. Please click here for the links to each survey, sorted by local authority. Please encourage all the young people you know to share their views and experiences with us. We want to hear what young people really think, and we plan to share the results with you at our Youth Conference in May.

This month, we are delighted to announce our new Chair of Trustees, share news of Tom Holmes’ visits to our supporters – Pangbourne Youth FC – and to The Wayz, tell you more about Berkshire Youth affiliation, as well as giving you updates on the next Youth Worker Meet Up, our current vacancies, training courses and much more!

I would like to once again say how happy we are with the appointment of Sarah Atkinson as our new Chair of Trustees. Sarah has been a super supporter as a key member of our Board, and I’m sure that her passion, expertise and drive can only help us in our mission to best support, empower and inspire our local young people.

Please help to share the importance of youth work and investing in young people by encouraging your friends, family and colleagues to sign up to receive our monthly newsletter by emailing us at

Finally, I would like to send you an early Happy Easter wish, hoping you get to enjoy some time with your loved ones. I know our team will be very busy, with lots of brilliant activities planned to keep young people active, happy and engaged over the school holidays!

Have a good month!
