Hope Hack Event

31 March 2022

We were pleased to support Thames Valley Violence Reduction Unit (VRU)’s Hope Hack event on Friday 4 March at Reading FC’s SCL Stadium.

The first in a series of national youth engagement workshops, the event enabled the young people who attended from across the Thames Valley to discuss and find solutions for a fairer society with safer communities.

Gareth attended with a group of young people from The Wayz and reported that it gave them a great collective platform to share views, concerns and aspirations for themselves, their peers and their communities.

We were delighted to arrange an extra special surprise when our Charity Ambassador, Tom Holmes, joined the young people to listen to what they had to say. One young person wrote on their feedback form that meeting Tom was one of the best parts of their day!

Well done to everyone involved for engaging with and listening to young people regarding these important topics.
