Meet Lorraine Brown – Waterside Centre Administrator

31 August 2022

We are thrilled to welcome Lorraine to the Waterside Centre team.

Lorraine previously worked for a translation and interpreting company, which involved recruiting translators who had the experience and qualifications to deliver word for word translation of documents. Part of Lorraine’s job was to ensure that all interpreters were fully DBS registered. Lorraine has also recently worked as a Covid-19 volunteer. She brings with her a wealth of experience, from across a range of different industries, including a hotel, a landscape and maintenance company and a marine dredging company.

Lorraine told us: “I enjoy working at Waterside because the role is so varied and no one day is the same. It’s great place and very different to how I remember it. Everyone has made me feel very welcome and I feel part of the team already.

I have always enjoyed keeping fit, and for the past two years I have been doing forest (not actually in the forest ?) yoga classes two / three times a week and I also enjoy walking.”

We’re delighted to have you on board, Lorraine, you’re doing a terrific job!
