Supporter Focus
31 August 2022
We are really grateful to everyone who supports our work with local young people. This month we would like so send special thanks to the following supporters:
Chieveley Fete – for raising £527 for us at their event this year.
They say: “Keep up the good work, you are doing a great job!”
Hungerford Hares – fundraising from the Hungerford Harey 8 in June, along with match funding by Vodafone, has enabled us to buy a much-needed defibrillator for Waterside Centre.
They say: “We are delighted that the money has been able to buy such an important device for the community it will serve.”
Lifecycle Software – for their continued support, including recent staff raffle.
They say: “Our R&D team raised £300 for Berkshire Youth by doing a virtual raffle, drawn at our company meeting in July. Prizes were wine from France, Amazon voucher, Bluetooth speaker, a Kalimba, Echo Dot, Lego friends set and more!”
Maxx Media – for sharing our messaging on the huge Reading Lights screens outside Reading Station.
Rotary Club of Easthampstead – for their ongoing commitment to and support of The Wayz, including their recent donation of £250 following the Bracknell Together Walk.
Rotary Club of Reading Abbey – for choosing us as the charity supported by their Englefield 10k event on Sunday 28 August.
Waitrose Newbury (pictured) – for their £600 cheque to support young people living in hardship to access the activities taking place at Waterside Centre.
Your donations enable us to support, empower and inspire Berkshire’s young people.
