Supporter Focus

30 November 2022

We would like to highlight the work of two brilliant supporters: Thames Water and One Stop.

Thames Water

Thames Water have been matched with us through Connect Reading’s Christmas campaign– The Giving Tree. Thames Water employees are buying games, arts and crafts to be enjoyed by the young people with whom we work. Thank you so much; we know that these gifts will bring lots of joy to local young people!

One Stop

A big thank you to One Stop stores for giving Waterside Centre a £500 grant to support their Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme this Christmas-time. The HAF programme provides support to young people over the Christmas, Easter and summer holidays, particularly those on free school meals. We will spend this money providing hot meals and a wide range of activities for all of the young people joining us.

Thank you so much to everyone who supports us – every penny you donate and every minute you spend volunteering with us enhances the lives of Berkshire’s young people and lets them know that others value and care for them.
