Supporter Focus – Hungerford Hares
31 March 2022
We were excited to learn recently that the Hungerford Hares have chosen to raise funds for Berkshire Youth at this year’s Hungerford Harey 8 race.
The Hungerford Harey 8 race is an 8-mile race which starts at Hungerford Rugby Club. This year’s race will be held on Sunday 12 June. Some of our team and supporters have already signed up to run the race / support on the day. Will you take up the challenge too?! You can sign up here.
They told us: “We chose to support Berkshire Youth as we feel that young people have had so much to deal with in the past two years with the Covid pandemic and many suffering a negative impact due to the restrictions that were in place affecting their education, social networks and normal routines to keep them happy and healthy.
“The work Berkshire Youth does is so important to support younger people in developing skills to grow and develop positivity as well as self esteem which is so important as they transition towards adulthood.”
Thank you so much to the Hungerford Hares for choosing to support Berkshire Youth and local young people. We’re so grateful for this opportunity, which will also help us to raise our profile locally.
We are extremely grateful to all of our supporters who help us to support, empower and inspire as many young people as possible!
