We recently caught up with Eliza, second year undergraduate of Education Studies at the University of Reading, about her three-month placement at Berkshire Youth.
She told us: “Working with Berkshire Youth for my university placement has been amazing. It has given me the chance to experience what certain areas of youth work are like, as well as introducing me to all the great work that goes on behind the scenes. I’m so grateful to get a chance to explore what I’m passionate about, and it has been extremely inspiring. Going forward in my degree, I’ll keep all my experiences at Berkshire Youth in mind when thinking about my goals for the future.
“Everyone I have had the chance to meet has been so lovely, and I can’t be more thankful for how welcoming you have all been! Hopefully I’ll get the chance to come back and continue to help out, as it is very rewarding work and everyone is doing amazing things.”
Thank you for your kind words, Eliza. We have loved having you around and wish you all the best with in the future. It’s amazing that you plan to continue helping us out in the future!
