The Wayz – January 2023

30 January 2023

Everyone at The Wayz was excited to restart their sessions and programmes after the festive break. What a year 2022 was, with:

  • 238 Youth Sessions
  • 200+ Hours of Detached/Mobile Hub Work
  • 500+ Young People Engaged in Offers
  • 32 Trips and Events
  • 41 Focused 1:1 Youth Support
  • 10 Young People through Leadership Training
  • 1 Successful Community Fun Day

Bookings are now being taken for the February half term camps running 13 – 17 February, including some new activities and a trip to the bowling alley.

The team would like to thank Bracknell Town Council for their donation of a defibrillator to the centre. This is such a vital piece of emergency equipment, which we hope we shall never have to use.

They would also like to send out their thanks to Involve Community Services for the donation of the skateboards (pictured) who have been such a hit with the young people at The Wayz.
