Tilehurst Parish Council Update

Thank you to youth worker Jessica for this update on all the wonderful work taking place across the Tilehurst area.
Detached
Youth workers have been out and about across the parish carrying out detached youth work. We have been popping into local places and checking what young people have been up to.
There has been quite a bit of feedback to say young people need more after-school activities so we are going to trial some ping pong sessions at the Cotswold Sports Centre on Monday evenings throughout June.
Cotswold Sports Sessions
Sports sessions at the Cotswold Sports Centre are continuing and will run on Thursdays, 4 – 5pm, 20 April – 20 July (term-time only).
Young people in school years 7 – 9 are welcome, please sign up here.
PE kit type clothing is recommended and water bottles also come in handy!
Sports in the Park in Tilehurst – May Half Term 2023
Sports in the Park sessions will run again on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the May half term holiday. They will be held at all four parish recreation grounds: Cotswold, Cornwell, Turnhams Farm and Calcot.
A variety of activities will be available each day, lots of team building and sports. No booking is required, they are turn up and play!
