Tilehurst Parish Council Update
28 April 2022
We are delighted to announce that The Jubilee Annexe is now open!
Our youth worker Jessica visited recently and was really impressed with what she found. Since her last visit, furniture has been put into the building, finishing touches have been made, and the building has officially been opened.
We plan to get youth sessions up and running in the building as soon as possible, as well as rent the super new space to other youth and community users.
Tilehurst Parish Council, in partnership with Berkshire Youth, also plan to launch a new Art Club, in response to requests received in the survey carried out with local young people at the end of last year.
We also plan to start up an open access youth club on Thursday evenings for local young people. This will be led by the young people themselves, who will be responsible for planning what activities they would like to take part in.
Keep an eye out for further information on these clubs coming soon!
