Tilehurst Youth Club – Christmas 2022

Tilehurst Youth Club has been getting festive! Here is what youth worker Jessica told us:
“We have been making our own Christmas tree ornaments out of salt dough, playing festive games and decorating a Christmas tree. Young people were treated to a festive hot chocolate with whipped cream, marshmallows and a candy cane spoon whilst we decorated the tree to help them get into the festive spirit. It has been a great start to Tilehurst Youth Club, which only started this September, we have seen a consistent group of young people attending sessions each week.
“Young people have also been giving lots of ideas for activities they would like to do in sessions from January onwards. These have included: making slime, cooking and baking, art activities, team challenges and much more. We are hoping that in 2023 we can start to do small sessional trips and join up with other youth clubs across Berkshire so young people can meet up whilst taking part in a fun activity!
“The Youth Club is term time only, so the last session of 2022 will be Thursday 15 December and sessions will return on Thursday 12 January 2023, 6.30 – 8.30pm. Tilehurst Youth Club would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year – see you in 2023!”
