Waterside – April 2023

27 April 2023

Waterside Community Larder is running extremely well. We have welcomed several new members and seen a great improvement in our stock. Our Centre Manager, Ailie Pottinger, met the SOFEA team at their open evening in Didcot recently, which gave her a greater insight to the fantastic services SOFEA supply within the whole community, along with some great ideas on how we can potentially grow going forward.

We would like say huge thank you to all of our amazing and dedicated volunteers, we don’t know how we would manage without them! There are always opportunities for anyone wishing to be a part of the community larder volunteer team.

If you would like to get involved, please get in touch by emailing waterside@berkshireyouth.co.uk. We need people to assist with setting up and receiving our delivery on Tuesday mornings, plus additional cover in the afternoon when the larder is running.

Thank you, Lorraine, for this update!
