Waterside Centre’s First Anniversary

15 August 2022

We’re delighted to celebrate Waterside Centre’s first anniversary this month.

During our first year we’ve welcomed thousands of visitors to the centre, who have enjoyed a range of activities and experiences – from yoga to boxing, arts and crafts to paddle sports, climbing to taking part in our Youth Conference, visiting our Community Larder or enjoying a relaxing drink in the cafe.

We caught up with Kelly, our Youth and Community Manager, for her thoughts:

“We are all really excited to be celebrating Waterside’s first birthday! The team have worked hard over the past year to create a valuable offer to local young people and the wider community alike. We’re thrilled that Waterside Centre has already proved itself to be such a valued and important community asset.

“It’s been so rewarding to witness the positive impact our work has had on young people’s lives, as shown in our recent video. We look forward to the continued growth of our programmes over the coming year, and to celebrating young people’s successes and achievements.”
