We’re Pangbourne Youth FC’s Charity of the Year!

28 October 2021

We are absolutely thrilled that Pangbourne Youth FC have chosen to support Berkshire Youth this season. Here’s what their lead committee members had to say:

“Pangbourne Youth was formed in 1979, and as of 2021 has over 150 children in over 10 teams, with over 30 adult volunteers supporting them.  This year we decided to further our commitment to our local community though selecting a charity to work with and fundraise for.

We have chosen to partner with Berkshire Youth, as they share a core belief with our club, which is that every young person should have access to opportunities to develop skills and raise their aspirations.

At PYFC we support this aim though enabling children to play football, championing fitness, and developing teamwork, fair play, and respect. Berkshire Youth has been serving the young people of Berkshire, delivering excellent and efficient youth support services for 80 years, supporting young people make the successful transitions to adulthood though furthering their development and education and enriching their lives through leisure time activities to help them grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and that their condition of life may be improved.

We are proud to partner with Berkshire Youth and look forward to helping them with their fundraising.”

We really look forward to working with Pangbourne Youth FC to ensure that they enjoy and benefit from this arrangement.
