Youth Development and Community Engagement Update

What an exciting month May has been! The King’s Coronation Celebration at Waterside Centre was great fun. Children enjoyed crown making, biscuit decorating and a visit from Newbury’s Mayor, who joined in with archery and a game of football.
As the sun continues to shine, we are thinking of the summer holidays, and would like to invite all Thatcham-based youth organisations to another Thatcham Community Youth Conversation. This is a time to network, share our school holiday plans and hopefully have some updates on actions to come out of the first meeting.
This will be held on Thursday 6 July, 6 – 7.30pm, at Thatcham Town Chambers.
Waterside Centre is hosting a Business Brunch on Friday 9 June, 9.30 – 11am. If you’re a local company, why don’t you come along and join us? Further details here.
