Berkshire Youth in the News!

10 March 2022

Check us out on the front cover of Out & About magazine! Read pages 32 – 35 to learn about the positive difference just some of the activities we run from Waterside Centre are making to four young people’s lives.

We’re also featuring on this Sunday’s (13 March) Politics South programme – BBC One at 10am. On Tuesday, the BBC filmed an interview with David and some young people at Waterside Centre. David is responding to the government’s Levelling Up plans, which mean that most of Berkshire’s young people are excluded from this funding due to where they live, regardless of their personal circumstances.

David will also speak to Andrew Peach about Levelling Up on Radio Berkshire on the morning of Monday 14 March.

We are delighted with this coverage, as we continue to speak up for young people and fight their corner. This is a role we are honoured to have, and take very seriously.

Please click this link for links to watch the BBC programme and to listen to David on Radio Berkshire.
