We are currently working hard to finalise the Waterside Centre’s offer over the coming months, including a youth club, an exciting programme of events and a safe space where local young people can go to make friends with others their age, as well as trusted adults.
Waterside Centre boasts inspiring facilities, including a climbing wall, dance studio and water-based activities.
We are still calling for help from local individuals and organisations to help finance the Waterside Centre’s transformation. Further information here.
We have a wide range of rooms and spaces available to hire at Waterside, at very competitive prices. We can accommodate a variety of work meetings, parties, clubs, activities and much more – including any catering. We will also do our very best to support any special requests or requirements you may have.
We’ve created our very own Amazon Wishlist for items which would really enhance our centre and young people’s experiences. Please would you treat us to something? We have a wide range of lovely items on our list, from £3 skipping ropes to more expensive items. Thank you!

We were delighted to open the Waterside Community Larder in January 2022. This is a membership scheme which provides healthy and affordable food to the West Berkshire community; which would otherwise be sent to landfill. Please refer to the poster for further information.
The Community Larder is open every Tuesday, 2 – 4pm.
We desperately need volunteers to help run the Community Larder on Tuesday afternoons. Please contact us if you can help.
