CEO’s Thoughts (August Newsletter)

31 August 2022

Welcome to our August newsletter!

We’ve seen a lot of trauma over the last three years, with Covid, young people’s anxiety and curtailed social engagement and interactions, their parents’ worries about going out into the community…

We have once again seen our holiday programmes full, with young people fully engaged and active, enjoying the wide range of activities on offer as well as the meals and food provided for them.

We’ve also been delighted to welcome some great new staff to strengthen our team, all playing their vital roles in supporting, empowering and inspiring local young people.

It’s been a really positive summer so far, so we have decided to dedicate most of this newsletter to celebrating the summer holiday programmes at The Wayz, Britwell Youth and Community Project, and Waterside Centre.

I hope you enjoy our newsletter, and wish you all the best as we enter the autumn.

Best wishes

David
