News from Waterside Centre
30 June 2022
It’s been another busy month at Waterside Centre, and it’s incredible to think that it’s less than a year since the centre reopened its doors.
This month, Waterside launched their very own website which you can see here.
Ailie Pottinger has now become Centre Manager, and they are looking to recruit further members to their team – please click here to see our vacancies.
The team are looking forward to the weeks ahead, with a visit from rugby legend and BoxWise Advisory Board Member, Floyd Steadman, on Wednesday 6 July.
They are also launching Youth Music Nights. Building upon the rich musical heritage at the centre, the team are working with Berkshire Maestros to bring live music back to the centre, giving local musicians the opportunity to perform. The first event will take place on Saturday 23 July, 4 – 7pm; a summer party with BBQ by the canal. If you would like to support this event, we’d love to hear from you! Please email Kelly about exciting sponsoring opportunities, and email Di at Berkshire Maestros if you know any young performers who would like to take part in the event.
The team are also planning the summer HAF programme offer to local young people, which proved so popular last year.
They would love you to consider buying something from their Amazon wishlist to support their work with West Berkshire’s young people.
Remember to keep checking their social media for all of their latest updates on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
