Youth Worker, Slough – we are looking for a youth worker to work across a number of schools providing 1:1 support for young people disengaged from education or at risk of exclusion or involvement in youth crime. Hungerford Youth & Community Centre are looking for a Youth Support Worker 27 hours per week for late afternoon, evening and weekend work.
Sonning Common Youth Club are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Youth Leaders to join the team at our fun and busy club for young people age 10 – 16. This is a term time role; 1 – 2 evenings a week, 3 hours per shift on Wednesday and/or Thursday. They are recruiting for maternity cover (approx. 6 months) and a permanent member of staff. Both positions also have the potential for adhoc flexible school holiday work. Duties involve running activities such as arts and crafts and baking, playing or supervising sports and serving in the tuck shop. They are also keen for applicants to bring their own ideas and new skills to the club. Volunteers Needed – Tilehurst Junior Youth Club is run and staffed by local volunteers and they are looking for new volunteers to join their team. If you are interested in supporting the youth club and can commit to supporting on a Friday evening between 7.00pm and 9.30pm please contact the club.
