Trustee Role at Berkshire Youth – this is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation with a rich 80 year history and contribute your skills and experiences to the next phase of the development and growth of Berkshire Youth.

If you are interested in learning more about becoming a Trustee and joining the Board, or supporting the Board in relation to your specialist skills, please email the Chair of the Board of Trustees Sarah.Atkinson@BerkshireYouth.co.uk to learn more. Candidates will then be asked to apply in writing and the selection process may also include a panel interview. References and a DBS check are required upon appointment.

Social Media & Website Assstant – we are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Content Creator and Website Assistant to help expand our online presence and engage with our community. This part-time role, requiring 8 hours per week, is perfect for someone with a passion for social media, content creation, website management, and making a difference in the lives of young people.  Please submit your CV, a cover letter detailing your experience and any relevant portfolio or examples of social media work to admin@berkshireyouth.co.uk by Friday 17 January 2025.

Community Fundraiser – we are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Community Fundraiser to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for driving community fundraising efforts across Berkshire, engaging with local groups, businesses, schools, and individuals to raise vital funds for Berkshire Youth. You will play a key role in building relationships with supporters, planning and delivering community fundraising events, and increasing awareness of our cause to ensure we can continue to provide life-changing services to young people.  Please send your CV and a covering letter outlining your suitability for the role to admin@berkshireyouth.co.uk by Friday 17 January 2025.

Youth Worker, Slough – we are looking for a youth worker to support the development and delivery of our schools, youth centre and detached programmes.
Salary: £24,000 – £27,000.
Some evening and weekend work will be required.

Volunteer Handyperson or Caretaker, Waterside Centre – we are seeking a reliable and proactive Volunteer Handyperson/Caretaker to assist with the general upkeep and maintenance of our centre.  This is a flexible role that will support the smooth operation of the centre by ensuring all facilities and external areas are well-maintained, presentable, and ready for use.

Volunteers Needed – Tilehurst Junior Youth Club is run and staffed by local volunteers and they are looking for new volunteers to join their team. If you are interested in supporting the youth club and can commit to supporting on a Friday evening, 7 – 9.30pm, please contact the club.
