Sue’s Right Royal Treat

28 January 2021

Sue, our lovely, hard-working Data and Information Officer, had a well-deserved treat just before Christmas when she represented Berkshire Youth at a royal event at Windsor Castle.

We were thrilled when Berkshire Youth were one of twenty organisations from Berkshire to be chosen to attend this event; a special thank you and recognition of our vital work with local vulnerable people over the course of the pandemic.

Sue said: “It was all very surreal! I was very proud to represent Berkshire Youth… Despite all of the changes and challenges, Berkshire Youth has acted quickly to adapt its offering according to the demand we’ve experienced and it’s great that this has been acknowledged. It’s a day I shall never forget!”

Well done, Sue! Sue has really stepped up during the course of the pandemic, extending her hours to help launch and run the Berkshire Youth Hubs, amongst other things.

We are grateful to our whole team who have all gone above and beyond over this period to support Berkshire’s young people!
